HINNA organized a radio debate on 30th – JULY – 2015 at RADIO MUSTAQBAL IN MOGADISHU. The debate was conducted for 5 valued women participants from different sectors (public and private) – civil society organizations, women activism, journalism, young girls recently graduated from the universities in the country and women from government offices.
The aim of the debate was to conduct media advocacy for women and federalism system in Somalia.
The objectives of the RADIO DEBATE were:
1. To better understand Federal system and its meaning
2. To better identify the types of federal system
3. To discuss its impact – Challenges and/or opportunities for Somali women
4. Solutions to the challenges and how women can benefit from the opportunities
The debate was successfully ended with massive impacts and well discussion.
