HINNA (Women Pioneers for Peace and Life) is a non political, non-profit making, and humanitarian woman organization at a national level directly involving with the community and pioneering peace and stability throughout Somalia.
HINNA was initiated by a group of 60 cross section women that includes housewives, businesswomen and professionals who share common goal and values.
HINNA was established on April 28, 2003 in Mogadishu with the main objective is to see Somalia in peaceful situation and without roadblocks, faction enclaves and conducive environment where community lives side by side without conflicts and human rights abuses. The group aim is to adopt rule of law, enhance justice, equality, peace and human rights through.

With support of, Somali Women Study Centre (SWSC), HINNA conducted Radio debate for 5 participants from different women organization, women lawyer from government office, journalism, umbrella organization as well as international women organization. The aim of the debate was to promote the positive image of women as leaders and decision makers in Somali community.
Before the debate started the facilitators emphasised deeply for the participants the topic of argument. The debate was held at Radio Goobjoog as a live from 10:10 am – 11:30am on Tuesday where the journalist gave ample time to the participants to be debate and air out their views and solutions facing women in joining politics. The journalist asked various questions to the participants as round table and randomly selection.

The participants were passed the message of the positive image of women as leaders and decision makers in the Somali community.
