Small scale entrepreneur skills training for 250 women IDPs from different districts of Banadir region

From 16 September to 16 Novermber 2013 HINNA implemented SMEs training for 250 vulnerable women from different IDP camps in Banadir region with its partner funded  NRC (Norwegian Refugee counsel ). The training program was successful completed with no constraints, in the completion period.

The training methodology was based on adult learning principles with   PowerPoint presentation, group activities, role plays, visual displays, discussions, plenary and question answer sessions. The participants were tasked with the role of managing the training sessions through the Training Management Teams (TMT).The TMTs ensured that the training ground rules were maintained, collected daily feedback from the groups and conducted the recap of the training sessions. Each day started with TMT led recap of the various topics discusses the previous day using.

Well nourished food and soft drinking were used as refreshments per day during the training program, transportation was provided to the participants as incentives.

Below are some specific objectives:

  • Aimed to improve with the essential and Basic of Business studying,
  • skills and tools to develop the participant’s management method on Business
  • To enable the participants to useful advantage, good information, high practice and post experience

 

After the participants knowledge business skills they got a lucky to provide business startup kits and finally participant was very happy with having hope of bright future with their family member including their children.
