Women Pioneers for Peace and Life (HINNA) With support of Somali Women Study Centre (SWSC) organized a one day forum,held at HAWA TAKO centre in mogadishu on 16th – june – 2015, for 31 participants from different women organizations, government offices, Somali university students as well as umbrella organizations. The aim of the debate was to sensitize women on the enhancement of women in entering politics and their political participation in Somalia.
The forum was conducted in sessions where the facilitator gave ample time to the participants to debate and air out their views on challenges and solutions facing women in joining politics. The Participants were divided into four different groups where they deliberated on the issues of women and leadership in Somalia.
