On september 10th 2013 HINNA completed distribution of 800 DIGNITY kits to Vulnerable IDPs in 7 settlements such as Blind IDP camp (Wadajir District), Bantu IDP (Karaan District), Damanyo IDP (Hodan District), 77 camps divided into (77, Rader and Dadsaney IDPs) in Deynille District and Oromo camp (Dharkinley District). The project target areas have large IDP camps with different population of various profiles. The project actual beneficiaries are 800 (eight hundred) of extended families with more girls, disability, pregnant and lactating.
The distribution of sanitary items in a kit composing: 3 dresses (dirac), 3 shawls (garbasar), 9 pieces of sanitary cloth (washable), 6 panties (different sizes), 3 pieces of bar soap (250gr), 3 packets powder soap (100gmr), 3 petticoats (gorgorat), 3 head scarves (shash) in gratifying to young and elder women hygiene needs of the affected IDPs.
